Thanked: 39FS: Light Green Labeled Escher
Here we have a 8 inch Light green (or yellow/green) Escher water razor hone. The bottom label is in pretty good condition with some loss to the barber shop scene. The hone is lapped and the bottom label was sealed with clear spray on sealant. The first picture is of the stone wet to show the color.
The hone is approximately 8” x “1.7 x 13/16ths”. An excellent example of an Escher Thuringian. Very fine and relatively hard for a green colored Escher.
Price is $350 including shipping to the CONUS.

Thanked: 3795Nice!
I've never understood this concept of selling hones, but at least it gives someone a chance to buy a great hone.

Thanked: 39Hone is sold pending funds.
I’m selling because I have a few different Eschers and this just isn’t getting the love it should. It’s a great hone, but I’ve gotten a couple 6x2” Thuringians that have been my go to thuri’s (one Escher and one Karl Bracher Jr). I also have a 7” y/g & blue combo Escher and a y/g barbers Gem. So I figure I can pass this one on to someone who will appreciate it more.
I’ll be listing a couple more hones that don’t get the love they should soon.

Thanked: 39Sold! Enjoy the stone! Thanks to SRP and the buyer. I’ll be putting up a couple more hones that have unfortunately not gotten the Use they should in my den.

Those Karl Brachter stones are just as good as any Escher IMO. Been using one as my go to finisher for years.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
