Yellow green hone
Hi guys,
I have for sale a light yellow green hone. Origin is not 100% known. A strong candidate is Lyn Idwall, but people also suggested saxonian oil stone and troutstone as possibilities.
I started a thread on the forum last year and you can find more info and pics about it in there.
The stone was previously used with oil. I cleaned and lapped it on all sides and used it mostly with water and glycerin (for finishing).
Dimensions: 34mm x 58mm x 177mm and weighs in 980 grams. Comes with a wooden box.
In use - it's very versatile, could be used as a one stone hone and it's capable of finishing a razor.
On slurry is extremely fast and will erase bevel set marks with minimal number of laps.
I've also used it with different slurry stones (coti, japanese naguras and thuringians) and was quite pleased with the outcome. For finishing it needs a thicker medium (such as glycerin or oil) to produce the best results.
Price: 65 euro + shipping. Paypal only.
Will ship anywhere in the world at actual shipping costs.
If you need any other details or more pics, just let me know.
Thanks!

Price drops to 55 euro + shipping.
Below you can find the original pics of the hone, before I purchased it. The pics show the condition prior to cleaning and lapping.
The wooden box is still here and will be included in the package.
