Thanked: 237Lime green kiita, unknown mine, best stone I own
I am very reluctantly selling the pride and joy of my hone collection. I haven't used it in over 3 years, so I'm trying to find a new home for it. It's is the finest, most homogeneous stone I've ever used. It came from Garret at japanese-whetstones. It was not a stone that was ever listed for sale publicly, I had to almost beg him to let it go. I did a challenge with steve56, where we eached honed a razor for TC. TC picked my edge which came from this stone. Many will hunt jnats their entire life and be lucky to find a stone of this quality. I don't have the exact dimensions on me at the time of writing up the ad, so I will post them later. I realize this is quite an investment, so I will not touch the funds until the buyer has agreed to keep the stone, money back guarantee if it's not what I say it is, but only the most serious of collectors will have a stone that equals this one. Please ask any questions you may have. Thanks

Thanked: 237Price drop to $900. I won't go any lower and I'll likely take the add down in a few days if there's no interest. Thanks

Thanked: 237Wow, I completely forgot about the measurements. The stone is 5.5" x 3" x 5/8" thick. The missing corner thinks out from 3" to 1.5". Thanks for the reminder.

I have a similar one that I got off DaveW on a similar piece of wood. It is my best hone. I will never let mine go. Wonder why you are letting it go.
