For Sale: Labeled and Boxed Pearlduck Coticule - Genuine Belgian Deep Rock Razor Hone
Well Gentlemen, my wife has discovered this purchase and needless to say, it is now for sale. Apparently she was upset that I bought "another stupid rock" during the holiday season when we have to do stuff like "buy our kid presents" (doesn't seem more important than a good hone, but...). Also, my back can't take another night on the couch.
So anyway, my misfortune becomes your good fortune. For sale we have a (approximately) 5 inch by 2.5 inch by 1 inch vintage Belgian Coticule. The stone is beautiful, with an amazing pink hue throughout the stone. I have lapped and chamfered it. Unforunately, I didn't get to do much testing with it. So I will leave it to the next owner to find out what goodness this stone holds. The stone is labeled and the label is in amazing shape. It might have been NOS when I purchased it, but who really knows. It also comes with the original box.
The selling price is $210.00 which includes shipping within the CONUS.
