PRODUCT DETAILS
The Dovo Small Hanging Strop is recommended to help maintain the shave-ready sharpness of your straight razor. This two sided strop will help re-structure the cutting edge of your straight razor when naturally rounded or dulled from shaving.
Features:
Leather side composed of vegetable tanned* calf leather (sourced in Europe)
Fabric side composed of cotton webbing
Nickel-plated iron wire accents at top and bottom for hanging strop and holding taut.
Benefits:
Leather side helps re-structure the cutting edge of the blade to deliver a clean cut of the hair.
Fabric side can be used to remove debris or with a sharpening paste to renew the cutting edge of the blade.
Metal accents are sturdy and keep strop in place while stropping.

For the strop roughly 2 x 15 not including the hardware. With the hardware 2x18.

How about some detailed shots of the leather surface? Looks like it may have sat curled up for a spell. And what are the terms of return once the seal has been broken to determine this?

It’s a Dovo, travel strop.
It is short and narrow, about 12 in X 1.75 stropping surface, plenty for stropping a razor, (most folks use much less on a full length strop) and an excellent strop for traveling. Rolls up to a 2 in roll that fits nicely in a shoe for packing. The leather is very nice a bit of a napped grain but works well as does the linen.
I have had mine for several years and use it often.
