    Default Nakayama Honyama Habutae

Nakayama Honyama Habutae ( very slick ) with some nashiji. I would have to say it is good finisher stone in mid-hard range. It produces nice sharp and smooth finish on my Wapi, On the scale 1-10 I would say is 8.5 .The feedback is more like from 10 000 Choshera finishing stone, but the edge is sharp and smooth like butter. You can actually feel how the razor is cutting without pulling. I was using the stone together with small Tomo Nagura stone. I was honing with slurry, water and finally just with soap. No strapping needed. Also I have to say the stone is quite fast, about 20-25 laps. Please note that the sharpened impressions are my subjectivity.Unfortunately, in recent years, my hands and eyes have suddenly become uncertain, so I will gradually give up my long-standing collection.

I want to keep it at hand, but I decided to give it to someone who can use it. You can have it for $500.00 including shipping within USA. The razor is just for demonstration purpose and not included . Thank you for watching. I hope you will take good care of it .

    Dimensions are:
    Length 190 mm
    Width 70 mm
    Thickness 35 mm
