Thread: Vintage J. A. Henckels 'leather & linen' strop, refurbished

Vintage leather and linen J. A. Henckels banking strop. Overall length with hardware approximately 26". Strop approximately 18" by 2 ⅛". At top is Twin Man logo in gold shield. At bottom in script "J. A. Henckels" with gold background. Leather in good condition with one shallow cut about 5" "from top. Leather very thin. Cleaned with saddle soap. Linen cleaned with dish soap , brush and rinsed with cold water then dried flat. No cuts or tears but a few stains. Padded handle in good condition. All stitching in good condition. Top hanger cleaned with brass brush and lubricated with WD-40. Great first strop or addition to your collection.
