It's been a long time however I've been there many times but that was over 40 years ago before the highway construction. Then you could walk from one side to the other and the inside was dry only the entrances had a few inches of water inside. falling debris was always a hazard.

It sounds like it's not possible to walk from one end to the other side now.
cause people can't find the entrence on the blooming burg side.
Looking at the terrain on google maps I have a really good idea around where to look.

If you have a library nearby with topographic maps it will show you the old rail line and exactly where the tunnel is. If you don't a local college geology dept would have them.

But could they make a fine hone that be must likely slow to cut.
I kind of like having stones that just have one side flattened.
The first rock in this photo has to come out of the ground.
I made the meat slicer at work a lot sharper with a tiny piece of the stuff.
So annoying not being able to slice meats nice and thin.
Cause of the dullness of the blade. Cause that aged Italian meat only taste good when it's sliced paper thin.
