Alright Zib, I will PM you in a sec. Yeah I did some calculations and I think a 6x2 will be perfect. RoyalCake, your right about the ammo the kind that I can find in the stores I have to much of. Mostly .380's and .30-30, I am currently trying to find some .32-20 but those are rare and expensive, but that's really all I am lacking. Got a little side tracked there. I was thinking buying directly from ardennes would cost a fortune in shipping and take forever to get here because of customs. But I guess good things come to those who wait.

Why? Your diamond lapping stone will generate slurry...

True, if you have one. A slurry stone will make the surface smoother, though. Also, I prefer it to my lapping stone because it keeps all slurry on the hone, rather than half on the lapping stone.

Yeah I do have one and it will suffice I think. Some of the stones come with a slurry stone. Also If I do get one without a slurry stone I can always hack off an inch off the stone and use that if I really feel the need to have a slurry stone. Or I could buy one at a later date, but I do think the diamond stone will suffice for now.

Don't hack a inch off the stone it may make your
    honing take longer.
Plus with Coticules with coticules they vary on the grits.
Some Cotiucules shave nice from stone to face some need stropping of the blade.
So just do it with a diamond plate.

I'd also stay away from the superior shave. Jarrod lives by me. I bought my stones from Howard or Ardennes in Belgium. Pm me.

If I can help, let me know. I'd also be glad to check our your razor for you. If you like, I can hone it up for you on a Coticule, sort of try it before you buy it.
That's what I like about Zib - always incredibly helpful - thanks!
