Thread: EZE-LAP diamond stones?

I know a lot of people recommend a DMT 325 for lapping honing stones, but they're pretty expensive in the UK - I see them for less than $50 in the US, but the cheapest I've seen here is £60 (> $90). Getting one from a US supplier is not an option, as USPS postage is extremely expensive (about the same price again as the stone).

So I'm wondering if anyone has used EZE-LAP stones, and whether they're any good? The 8x3 ones here are more reasonably priced (and postage from Germany to the UK is cheap).

I see no reason why not to buy one! They seem very similar to my DMT's.

Hopefully someone with experience with one can join in!

I use the smaller EZE LAP stones for knife sharpening (courser obviously). I don't own any of the bigger ones but my experience with the ones I have is all good. Seems like a good product.
