    Default Sharpening Stone Help

Hi, I have a set of stones I found in a flea market... They were really dirty and I cleaned them up in boiling water. Now, I use water on them but doesnt give me any slurry. When I soaked them, they suck up lots of water and as soon as I take them out, water disappers. So, are these water stones or oil stones? What grit are they. the blue and beige stone seem really fine and the gray one is kind of coarse. Your help is greatly appreciated... To be honest with so much shine from the flash I would not be too surprised if the left is Arkie, then Lilly White, then ? and the right one some type of oil sodden sandstone or Arkie.
