    From what I saw the DMT 325 is actually the D11C is that correct?

    It usually isn't recommended that new honers use natural stones. They sometimes require a little more knowledge to shop for and can be tricky to learn. There are a lot of people that speak highly of the high grit synthetics when it come to finishers.hang around the honing forum for a while and you'll learn quite a bit.

    Yes they come in varying lengths hence different code numbers but the C = Coarse = 325 grit

    I think most people get the 8 inch D8C - that's the one I have.
