    Default King K45

    On Amazon, a K45 apparently costs £31, minus p&p.

The original price on the box says £18, but I've just picked this up for a mere £3.49 at a local charity shop.

Is Amazon right in saying that it's a 1000 grit stone?

Looks like 800 grits by the text on the box!
King is ok stones, nothing special but cuts hard steel and usually go for a nice price.
The one you got is made for kitchen knives but you can set a bevel on a razor with it, just make sure it's flat, King is quite soft stones.
