Default General C12K Opinions and a few questions...

    All,

Got my first real "finisher" (C12K from Jim at VB) enroute across the pond. While I wait, I contemplate how I'm going to lap and use this bad boy.

My plan was to lap on low grit w/d and work my way up to 1200 or so. Does this sound logical?

Also, my first attempt at its use was going to be touching up a previously shave ready razor by doing 100 laps or so (water only)...while it seems like a lot, I hear that's standard on these because they are slow cutters...true?

Your lapping plans seems right on target for these, and yes they are slow cutters.
