Thread: List of companies american hone company produced hones for

Ok i just purchased a hone and it looks very similar to a dubl duck hone. After further help & research I found out that DD hones were actually produced by A.H.C. I was wondering if anybody knew of list, or of any more hone brands, or if we could comply list of companies A.H.C manufactured hones for, this would be very helpful in identifying unmarked hones, like mine.

It would probably be easier to produce a list of outfits AHC didn't produce hones for.

Officially, maybe not,but it sounds like a nice thing to have as a reference. maybe your interest can lead you to the "advanced" search button, above right,,,put in the keywords section, "American Hone Company", "American made barber hones",,,etc. This will produce threads where this topic is discussed.

If you generate a list, then it could be added as a PDF file to assist everyone.
