Thanked: 13234http://straightrazorpalace.com/hones...l-setting.html
If the money is in the wallet save yourself all the anguish and just get the Chosera 1k to start, haven't found a better one yet...

Sounds like I need to order a chosera! Like I said, I have 2 1k stones already but at least the King was free Thank you all for the input, great group of guys here with a ton of experience and knowledge!! Thank you again!
Thanks for the link Glen, I should've searched for bevel setters!

Thanked: 13234I did quite a few of my Honing Vids using the King 1k just to show that it works fine, especially for the price you can find them at...
But everyday, honing about 8 razors each day with at least half being restores, I would fight you pretty hard if you tried to take my Chosera away

Hey Glen, where's that chart of yours with all the different bevel setters and their comparative smoothness, cutting speed, etc? That was gold...don't remember what thread it's from though!

I don't have any 1k stones,
all of mine were under $100....
That said I use my Chosera on many and my Naniwa on those that need less work.It is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!
