Thanked: 13245I use the 1k 5k 10k near every day, Fast, Accurate, they work great but I always add a finisher after which you already have an awesome one in hand with the Escher...

Yes, 10k can be a finisher. I used to use my 8k as my finishing stone because it is all I had. Then I upgraded to the 12k. However if you have an Escher, you have the Cadillac of finishers.
Or are you asking if you need another stone after the 5k and before the Escher? If so, that is something you will have to decide. Maybe others can chime in here, I don't have the experience in this matter since my progression looks differently. If I had to guess I would say an 8k or 10k would make your life easier. Then you could move to the Escher.

Thanked: 3164I have the 1k, 3k, 5k and 10k choseras and agree that the escher is a fine finisher to follow-up with. To be honest, the 5k does such good work that the 2k and 3k hones are not strictly necessary, especially so with the 2k. I find that the 10k chosera is just short of a 'fine' finisher and needs something to follow it. Bridging the gap between your 5k and the escher, which probably equates to 11-12k, maybe a little more, will certainly speed up the job.

Neil

This set up just in case you are in a budget, if you have money to spent buy the Chosera all along. But at least 1K, you should have
