    Default concave hones

    I've noticed that some hones have a concave side and a flat side. could some one explain the use of the concave side. thanks.

    I remember them when I was quite younger then I just saw one or two on the bay. I'm sure they a pocket stones for barbers just don't know.

    The concave side is used to sharpen safety razor blades.

    If you have seen a photo of one on the net, then post it here for us to see, it's not clear exactly what type of hone you are refering to.

    It's probably a safety razor blade hone as Martin said.

    Normal to hone razor blades...just enter razor hone on the bay and you will find...how they worked i dont know...
