    Default Ohishi 1/8 k or 3/10k ??

    Quick question for the honers

    (Disclaimer I've never honed a thing - just reading here)

    These Ohishi stones are meant to be good. Has anyone used them?

    Also the most popular ones here seem the 4/8k but these stones are offered in 1k / 8k or 3k / 10k

    Which would be better, or would you need both?

    Norton & Ohishi Waterstones

    Any input welcome :-)

    Moved to "Hones" forum.

    Haven't tried the Ohishi stones myself . Strange combinations .
