We all gather in the town center each morning to listen to the opening of Ace of Spades before we go about our day.

I'm hoping you mean the "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead rather than the band, Ace of Spades? Sheesh...so 80's!

I sorta forgot about the shale what with a Zulu in house...

Mine is black smoothness, feels like N8k, makes deep chocolate slurry, sparkles are light and scattered. Trick is digging through the weathered surface which is very flaky. I thought about dragging one behind the truck to work? Made a big mess with a 4" grinder the other night. Haven't messed with saw yet.

I usually start with big rocks. Cut the end off, and then a 2" thick slab, thats with the Stihl. I take the 2" thick slab and put it on the tile saw, then cut 1" thick pieces from that. One of my challenges is getting a nice even cut with the Stihl, that thing is a monster. I have used a 7" grinder with the guard remove and a 10" blade on it. It kicks up a crazy amount of dusts and the dusts is hard to control, a guy only wants so much water spraying when using electric tools.
