Ordered a new stone
I probably don't NEED it but I went ahead and ordered a Zulu Grey. Just happened to be reading the hone section and was reading alot about them and decided "what the heck might as well right". I am looking forward to getting home and hopefully it will be there waiting for me. This will be my first natural so hope to learn a bit with it

Thanked: 284Psh, like any of us really NEED any of this...
If I only bought SR stuff that I really needed, I'd be much more depressed.I love living in the past...

I forget. What grit do they say the Zulu Grey is akin to?
ps-I resisted the urge to buy one. Main deterent? Price. My Naniwa's are doing just fine. I would like something higher than a 12K. However, that is an entirely different chapter in the need vs. want book.

I haven't seen anywhere that they actually specify a similar grit value. I have just seen it labeled as a finisher

if you just ordered it , look for it in a month to two months im sure micheal is still catching up on the December special he ran. I asked Geezer about it and he said its a good finisher but I don't think it will have a set grit being a natural,, but if you ask Glen im sure he could elaborate on it tc

Had my Zulu since Sept. 2012, still to this day one of my favorite naturals. I have and played with Turingians, Eschers and coticules (several) and just order a second Zulu for travel. IMHO it's one one of the best values as far as natural finishers go! Enjoy!
