    Default Naniwa Snow white 8000.

    Just replaced my Naniwa super stone 8K with a Naniwa Snow white 8K.

    Hi Phrank the Snow white is a much harder stone than the Naniwa Super stone cuts much faster and very rarely needs lapping and no clogging and some say the missing link in the Chosera lineup, I've heard say that it's up there with the Chosera 10K.

    I have used one for honing my kitchen knives for some time now.
    It is a rocking hone for that imho.
    As for razor honing, I found it a tad too hard and unforgiving somehow.
    Which is a bit strange, I also use the Shapton Pro's, the Chosera's and not to forget the Suehiro Gokumyo Debado in similar grits.
    All pretty darn hard stones compared to the Naniwa SS.

    Anyways, a good and responsive hone it is.
