    Default Hone ID and quality rating?

    Is there anyone who provides this service? I know you can post up pics and possibly get an ID, but there are times I would like an experts opinion on my c12k level. I'm sure the more honing I do will let me better judge the edge capability of hones. I just bought a mystery hone and was just wondering since I am no expert with capability or ID.
    Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

    You can probably ask any honer whom you trust. Most would not turn down an opportunity to try out a mystery hone!
