    Updating this thread,

    Upon further research this hone is indeed a celebrated water stone from Germany. I had it authenticated by a reputable source and put it side by side by another. I believe Escher made these hones, and the majority of them were glued into a wooden box with the label on the inside cover.

    Any comments would be great. Thanks

    There were some around beeing darker (or more beeing black then blue) i owned one, but sold it 3 months ago....
