Thanked: 3neat little tool!
I just picked up this cool hone used for DE blades. The leather on the wheels needs some oil and to be cleaned up, but I would imagine it would work alright otherwise!

I've seen a few of these around. I thought they were put on leather hanging strops and run up and down.. I understood it to be a strop, however.hmmmmm... Love to see it in action. I guess I'll be out to the net to find a vid.

Fascinating utility, all the same. I saw some vids out there. Worth a view to check out how the thing actually worked.
I do have a DE hone. I haven't used it and I'm not sure how to properly, to be honest. I'd need to find a vid or info on that as I've just "finished" off one blade. I'm not sure how useful honing a DE blade will prove to be.
