    with water it's prefinishing with oil I would say it's finishing. Cause with oil I get a much closer shave.

    How do you like working a 6*3 stone? Do you wish it was a 8*3?

    He cut it in half the long ways made it be 12by 1 1/2. I really like honing on it.
    I really like the width of it. Though I don't end up using the whole length.

    I'm with ya, I like a narrower hone too. Most of mine I had cut 8x2

    They are 1 inch thick
