No, the BBW's slurry would be violet / red, and this one's pure grey.
I just used the diamond stone on a BBW before lapping this one, so there is maybe a little touch of red on the picture's slurry, but it's definitely not a BBW.
I don't think of it as a french slate (the color would be more like a Dragon Tongue's). Maybe a thin Thuringe ?
The thin stones I was thinking about were Sweden's by the way, but I can't find back the picture I saw that reminded me this one.

Hi Thaeris,
I am not really sure if this is a Norway ragstone. The ragstones do have very small black dots, normally only visible when wet (Last picture). Maybe a view of the hone sides could help to identify.

There is indeed black spots, and when the hone is dry they're not easily visible.
Only got this picture of the side (encountering issues with my camera right now) :
This is the finest stone I've ever met. It's only 0,12 inches thick

A french member of our forum said it could be a "La Lune".
I'd say the grit is around 6000 for this one.
