    Does anyone know this hone based on the sticker? It is 6x1 in size.

    I think it's a Greywacke stone, although I have also seen some barber hones with a somewhat similar label and size. The Greywacke can be from prefinishers up to fine finishers, but leave a somewhat harsh edge. More photos could help with the identification.

    It's a grey Badesdone finisher,,,mined in Eastern Europe, around 15K to 18K. Not as rare as an Echer, but quite a good stone. Hopefully you got it for a good price. Thanks for sharing it.

    44 bucks on eBay. That pretty good price for it?
    Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

    Nice one, really.
    But I have seen so many different and rare stones, a new one with strange name woke my HAD. And eastern Europe, there are no stones coming from there. One more reason to want one, although the 15/18k grit rating was indeed fishy.
    Well, now I'm disappointed... That empty feeling that only a new highly regarded rare stone can fill.

    Haha...just beeing fooled by Hirlau :-) i know this deeply dissapointed feeling as i heard that the Rainbow PHIG does not exist....i am feeling with you Vassilis...so a new rare stone will shurely heal your HAD..is there any Stone you do not own ?
