I understand your curiosity to remove the stone from the base, but, like the others, recommend against it. At best, you'll have a stone inferior to the coti, at worst you'll render them both useless.
The reason the coti's on the top, is cause it's better than what's on the bottom.
Having said all that, of the three BBWs I have, I really like two of them. Don't know why, but I do.

Actually, neither can I, lol. I can't even keep them glued onto a base, i.e., nanis. But in this case I would, cause those vintage guys did things for a reason.Quote:
