Zulu Grey - Time from Order to Receipt
Hello all - I ordered my first Zulu Grey back in mid-April and I have still not yet received the stone. I understand that Mike is running a small operation and I contacted him once a little more than a month ago to status my order. At that time, he stated all was progressing as expected.
However, to date I've been waiting well over two months to receive my order. So, I'm wondering how much longer I should wait before filing a claim with my Credit Card for goods not received. I'm trying to be fair about this, but I don't want to miss my window to recover lost funds.
All this has me wondering, if you've ordered a Zulu Grey directly from Mike, can you tell me approximately when you placed the order and how long it took to receive the stone(s) from date you placed it?
Thanks in advance to all.

You can also contact your CC co and find out what the 'window of opportunity is to file a claim for non receipt of goods. I did call mine once in a situation with a different vendor and the CC co told me there was no time limit. That may vary depending on the company. I've not heard of anyone having a problem with Mike in terms of not receiving what they ordered. Like Bill said, contact him again.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Like Bill and Jimmy said contact Mike.
I ordered mine shortly after Mike announced the business was up and running and as I remember it was here in 40 to 45 days.Bob

Mine was a month to month and a half wait. Can't recall specifics at the moment. Give him a call/PM. Can't hurt to try again.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 18Sleep deprivation is the story of my life lol between working nights and a 5 yo and 4 month old when I come home I don't think I could sleep 8 hrs straight. I was dying to get at my zulu but the wifey was umm...miffed shall we say that another package had shown up. In fact she wouldn't even tell me what day it had arrived, just gave me that look....you know that look. The one that said if she had a hammer and I was in range when that package from south Africa had arrived I would be sporting a divot or two in my noggin! So basically I just opened it, drooled over it and then put it away . It's kinda out of my league at the moment except I might try messing up one of my shave ready razors from my rotation on it when swmbo is sleeping

Thanked: 1185I am just injecting some thoughts here for those that haven't read back to other threads and such. LOTS of laps (100 minimum, light) , moist only, and it will take all harsh feeling out of a 12k nani or equivalent. The stones vary like any natural but they are hard and slow over all.
Can't do without mine :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Zulu Grey - Time from Order to Receipt
Thanks 10 pups for the info and he is spot on about the ZG! I go off the 12 vs an 8 and seems to get better results on the Zulu. Circles/ half strokes will really speed things up on a slow hone and just do your final 25 strokes as perfect x strokes.
