    60 -80 grit Silicon Carbide will get it flat, use a sharpie to mark the stone, as pencil will wash off on the first pass. You only need a table spoon or so for a stone.

    Man that's awesome yea I saw a youtube clip on that. It's tons of fun I got a gem that I gonna have to have someone look at to know what it is. So funny though how people tell me there's no gold on the east coast. Gold is pricy I once dropped a friend off to pick up a car and the guy gave me 100 bucks for tolls and gas and a piece of 1/3 gram of gold worth 75 bucks at the time.
