ID this hone
Picked up this hone today. I ran some quick searches to figure out what it is with no luck. So now im turning to you guys. Its aprox 2"x5"x1/2"

Well, it says 'foreign'. Makes me think it was sold in UK. Perhaps post-WWI? Cut from natural rock..

Peter or Neal will know for sure but the logo could possibly be the Bösenberg, Trinks and Co which was a direct follow-up or subsidiary company of J.G. Escher Sohn. They also sold thuringian hones under this logo. The company was then taken over by another german firm, the Schleifmittel AG that existed until 1963. Thanks for sharing.
