Are you outa your mind? Would you give him a DE? No harm I hope. SWMBO wouldnt like that pic for sure..here have him watch this while hes honing your razor..
Rasiermesser Rasur - YouTube
Hes not gonna get it untill hes about 16. Thats not an ark. Thats a Naniwa. And while you watch the vid look in the background...theres a large cast iron skillet hanging on the wall that SWMBO will hit you with.
Notice the second pass...SWMBO likes that. BTW thats not rounded steel.Last edited by HaiKarate; 09-15-2014 at 09:08 AM.

I was bread knifing a blade and he was just staring at me the whole time mesmerized. Couldn't help myself but pick him up for bevel setting. He is the kind of kid who runs down the hall when he hears me stropping. Stands there staring as I shave. Love them at the discovery stage, ok all stages. Thanks to all for their kind comments.
SWMBO was taking the pictures

So at least he will understand the process "organically" - just as we would have learned it generations ago. Now we are dependent on our Web Family to teach us. Soon you will give him an old brush, cake of Williams and let him learn how to lather...
Thanks for sharing the moments - I know we all smiled...
Smooth shaving.

Thanked: 246
Lol, I have to admit I was thinking the exact same thing as Haikarate. I have a son that age and I would not let him anywhere near a sharp razor. Kids that age are WAY too grabby as well as really quick and don't understand the consequences of grabbing something like a sharp razor. I am relieved to hear that it wasn't sharp.
