    i just bought one a pike strop hone like this one

    Hone and Strop ;-) just joking, try out 6-10 strokes with soapwater or lather, try if any improvement occurs, you can also try certain more strokes....

    I have no experience with this one, so you should not take too much strokes...

    Just got done adhering a honking hunk of Neil Miller bridle to one, a Keen Kutter.

    As a strop, lots of reps. The hone should not take too much, though!

    I was informed by others that around 8 strokes with lather or water is all you need to refresh with it

    EDIT: I went back & checked it was dry for the Pike Strop Hone & with Lather for my Pike Swatty
