Ha! Good thing you're on the other coast and can't come to the local meet ups. I've got an SG20K and new La Veinette coti I've been playing with because of these guys and I'll be testing this stone shortly as well. There is a contagious acquisition disorder here.
On the other hand, I'd be shaving with butter knives without this same great group

Thanked: 8Ordered an apache from the site. Terry said it should be here in a few days (AZ to Cali). I look forward to giving it a test drive on some razors this weekend. It'll be nice to compare the edge with the Escher.

Thanked: 458Biggs and owyhee also give an escherish feel on the edge, and as the seller mentions his stones have a lot of iron oxide in them, so does jasper.
If you're willing to do some lapping and look a little bit, biggs and owyhee jasper slabs are about $10.
