Nice find. The top looks coticule and the bottom a lightgreen? thuringian, I've seen similar sawmarks on mine. I can't place the middle one, it seems too thick to be a thuringian. How big are they?

Some pics taken in outside sunshine.
Dimensions: brown = 2.25cm wide, 19.5cm long, 1.5cm thick.
dark grey = 3cm wide, 17cm long, 2.25cm thick
light grey = 4.2cm wide, 20.3cm long, 1.75cm thick
Thanks!

Thanked: 459The bottom one is a thuri. I've seen the brown marks in the side in other known thuringians and labeled thuris that look exactly like that. Good score.
The top, no clue, it'd be easy to tell if you're using it, and the middle one just looks like slate. You'd luck out if it was water of ayr or something, but those are usually pretty finely finished.

Thanked: 2284The big question is, do they improve an 8k edge??? Then you'll really know where to place these stones in your progression.

From your last pics I would say that the bottom stone is a yellow-green thuringian
Those are the most sought after.
The slurry of the middle one seems pretty light and it's actually not that thick so could still be a thuringian.
