If so, then they have to be protected,, there are threads on this subject.
If not, start with some dish soap & a toothbrush,,, Simple Green can be used also, I cut my Simple Green 50/50 with water & it still gets the job done.
Do this ,then take a look at the stone & if it needs something stronger, let us know.
