Thanked: 2284Very cool. I too recently got two thuringians in the same purchase from Hatzicho. I love em. How about a pic of this Greaves you love.

Thanked: 2284Had to Mike. Yellow/green and a blue in the same add. Just little guys but they leave a killer edge. He's been putting some nice "Escher" Thuringians on the Classifieds recently for killer prices.

ok so although i didnt feel i needed to do as many strokes as i did this is what the razor was
!(last time it was honed)
1) bevel set on "La Veinette" coti
2) 30 strokes light slurry with pressure on a vintage coti
3)50 strokes on same coti with no pressure and this razor was a shave machine ..
now comes the play just to play part .....now it was just luck but after all the next steps it needed no attention ! razor seemed more crisp and a tad bit sharper and smoother then from just off the coti but the sharper part may be mental
thuri........
1)20 no pressure , heavy slurry
2)20 deluded slurry ( very light as i had worked most of the heavy off the stone
3)30 on just water ...
of course over kill on the thuri but it seemed to do the trick and after all !! when you get a new toy you have to play with it to get the feel !!
P.S.
razor porn provided below !

One thing about an old, fine Thurri. Thin the slurry out and go straight water. You can sit through 2 beers and not hurt a thing, going lightly. Love em!
