    That is not the case for all of them. Some barber hones' instructions specifically say to avoid heat. Also, some hones will degrade if left under water.

    I got only synt corund stones , and a bunch of naturals . I began to wonder , how those barber hones looks and performs , as well.
    Tey are not avaible across the flea markets and auctions here ,in my beloved country , so i will find a way to get one ,soon .

    I've got a King Midas in the same kind of pouch as in the photo. I don't think either side is the same as my King single grit but I may not be remembering them properly.
