Thread: Finally got it!

I finally honed a razor and was able to shave with it with no irritation! I wanted to post this here because help that I got here helped make it possible. I ditched my Norton 4/8 after getting inconsistent results, and used some of my Christmas bonus to buy some naniwa stones. The new stones, advice here, and videos by Glen and Lynn finally came together to get me nice results. I still have a long way to go and lots to learn, but at last crossed that first important hurdle

Here is the razor, which was honed by Glen and in my rotation. I dulled the end by accident, so I figured I would fully dull it and start over since I knew what it felt like properly honed!
