    In a word, yes. You can buy much coarser grits of SiC than 320.

    I have tried a 80 grit fibre disc sand paper with no success. Will keep this in mind.

    Start with 60 grit loose SiC and watch your troubles lap away like waves on a beach, lol.

    He is not joking, I have done this before to get things close, then went to coarse grits of sandpaper, then to dmt325

    He is not joking, I have done this before to get things close on concrete driveway, then went to coarse grits of sandpaper, then to dmt325

    Ditto this. A concrete block from a building supply store or sidewalk is also a good option. The concrete blocks are full of large silica particles, are flat (otherwise the surfaces would be wavy and look bad), and have large pores.
