    Here is a black stone that had an Escher, “Dark Blue” end label (blue).

    Based on the slurry and the original photo probably a slate, maybe a Thüringen.

    Hard black stones like Arks will slurry white.

    Some “special stones” were grey or dark grey.

    Could fit to some smaller thuringian Stones Sizes beiing around 10x3x1...looks like thuri slurry but i would prefer daylight shots and clear shots to be more correct then just guessing...

    With that size it could be a thuri pretty easily. I didn't realize it was so small.
