Strop the harsh blade 5 times on a CrOx pasted strop and see if it is better.

I have toned down a razor ..by stropping it on newspaper. Use 3-4 pages of thickness and tape it to your flat counter top and strop away.

As I learned to hone I stayed at 8k grit for a long time. When I added a 12k I got sharp and harsh on all razors. I added a Zulu to finish and everything is sharp and smooth now. You'll figure out your own way. You may need to try everything everybody is saying but let's hope not :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You could do with a microscope...
Harsh to me means the edge is broken up..
