It works, slowly, but very well.
I had two razors in need of refreshment, my "italian" Caudano 7/8 "Il Preferito"(guys, this thing shaves well!) and my freaking hard steel Klas Törnblom 5/8 in salvaged turtle, ivory wedge and bronze pins (my first very successful pretty good rescaling project - proud to get rid of the ugly black original scales of so minty blade).

The Caudano went well, because I already knew these stones cut very slowly and this razor have not a super hard steel, and the Tornblom - that always enjoyed to eat and make slurry from my chinese 12k - just can't scratch it, and took ages to sound and feel harmonic. Both razors came out of the stone with mirror-finish bevels. Some standard CrO and leather treatment before and both are shaving perfectly. This stone is slow, but raise a superb edge!
I'll took some time yet to learn how it works on my other blades (most Heljes), but seems my chinese 12k will get some rest for some time. The chinese seems so soft in comparison wit this new stone. No slurry, no surface alterations but the "grayishing". This stone is a grail!
