Thanked: 6I found an old ad in my files from 1938, it states the foundation of the company to 1906:
Fassbinder &Co was still in business until 1950, refer to a Leipzig Exhibition catalog from 1950.

Thanked: 246I think it is probably much more likely that the F & Co. was Faßbinder & Conscience...I wouldn't think German companies of that period (1906) would have used English abbreviations. It's obvious the partner named Conscience was an important part of the team if he took over as director only 3 years after the company was formed.
