    Default Naniwa Chosera 3000

I'm thinking about buying a Chosera 3k. At the moment I use the Chosera 1k and then the Shapton 4k.
Is the Chosera 3k a good substitute for the Shapton 4K ?
I much prefer the Chosera 1k to the Shapton 1K and it fits nicely on my Shapton stone holder. Also I've noticed that my Shapton 4k/8k are getting a little thin..
They are pricey but you get a lot of stone for your money.. and its pink, yay

You can get a Naniwa 3K-8K combo stone to augment/replace the Shapton 4-8K.

My 3k Chosera would auto slurry, I switched to 3k Super Stone and like the results better.

I use the Chosera 1-5-10 everyday

I would not recommend it simply because it is very expensive, and requires a finisher after so it isn't even a complete setup

the Chosera/Professional will cut faster and smoother then most any 4k out there, I found no use for the 3k and Stefan is the second person that I heard mention the Auto-slurry issue with it..

It won't do anything "better" then many of the other 3-4-5 k hones out there, but it is faster, so if money is no object and a slight gain in speed is your goal then by all means buy one

Thanks , 5k it is then .. I cant really afford it but know I cannot stop myself from buying what I want.
Would you recommend halving my stroke count from the Shappy 4K to the Chosera 5K?
