Smiling blade . . . how to sharpen
I recently sharpened a razor using lapping films, right from setting the bevel to final edge. What I am wondering now is, how would I do this on a blade with a slight smile?
Is it as simple as rotating the edge as it passes from one end to the other?

Thanked: 18Not only will it help hone a smile but the rolling X-stroke can help with a number of issues including uneven honewear and geometry issues. Good Luck.
