    Default Lansky Hard Arkansas

What are your opinions on the stone. 6x2 not the finest stone but it's apparently finer then their soft, which must be very coarse because this stone is coarse out of the box. I got it for 25 bucks at sail with some Lansky honing oil.

The Lansky-branded Arkansas stones I've seen looked pretty good. I've only used a couple, though.

It comes very coarse and out of flat. I used it for a bit, could set a bevel no problem. I then ran it on my DMT and it's a whole different stone. Very smooth now. Nowhere near as smooth as a black or translucent but still for a hard Arkansas not a bad little stone.

Yeah Arks generally do get better after being used for a while and the milling marks have been smoothed out.
