    Default Flea market finds

I picked these up this weekend and was thinking the larger one was a dark color thuringian. I am not sure about the others. It has different type of cut marks or grooves or maybe they are layers. Any ideas on what it is. Looks and feels like the other larger stone. They were amongst old tools not razors but seems like a thuringian to me.

Bottom one looks like it had a label on it.

When I go around to flea markets in rural areas around here one of the things I find most is old black slate stones. It's almost impossible to tell what they are or how fine they are without cleaning them.

The ones you're looking at are fairly encouraging in size and condition.
