Back is slate. It's not useful honing material. It's an Ardennes stone so ask Ardennes.
My guess would be La Grise.
Hone a few razors with it. That way you can identify its type as fast or slow, fine or coarse, and great or good.
It's a coticule, so experiment and have fun with it.
Yes, all my Belgian's are BBW backed and have the purplish slurry.

It looks like it may be La Grise or maybe La Grosse Jeune.
